About This Spot

Stepping into Pippa’s Pantry feels like slipping into a quietly cherished corner of Sutton Bridge—a small haven where the pace softens and the buzz of everyday life fades just enough to invite lingering. The warm, welcoming air wraps around you gently from the moment you cross the threshold, embraced by the soft murmur of friendly chatter and the comforting scent of freshly brewed coffee mingling with sweet pastry notes.

This cozy café invites you to settle in, perhaps in one of the inviting high-backed armchairs that seem made for long, unhurried conversations or quiet moments spent with a good book. The décor strikes a balance between homely charm and thoughtful details, creating an atmosphere where genuine care feels woven into every corner.

Here, the menu isn’t just a list—it’s a subtle invitation to experience simple, well-crafted pleasures throughout the day. Whether it’s the velvety crema of a carefully poured cappuccino, a cooling scoop of creamy gelato, or the delicate, fragrant layers of baklava, each bite and sip encourages you to savor time as much as taste. The food is "locally loved," from the tender sausage rolls to the irresistible carrot cake that visitors find themselves reluctant to part with—comfort food wrapped in a quiet pride.

While it’s clear Pippa’s Pantry has become a favored stop for both locals and passersby alike, the feeling remains intimate, like a shared secret treasured within the community. The bustle on busier days doesn’t disrupt the sense of calm but rather hints at how many find something real and reassuring here—a space for slowing down and reconnecting over moments that matter.

Visiting Pippa’s Pantry is less about rushing through and more about settling into a rhythm that welcomes warmth, good flavors, and the simple joy of being present.

We had our first afternoon tea today. The food was beautifully presented and the variety of food was wonderful. The service was great even though it was very busy. We will definitely be visiting again soon xx

Popped in for the first time for cake and coffee today on our way to Kings Lynn from Moulton. I can honestly say the carrot cake was the best I have ever had. I just didn't want it to end. Hubby had a huge mincemeat fresh cream turnover. I was hoping he wouldn't manage it all but he inhaled the lot! The cheese straw we shared was also very delicious. A lovely cosy and welcoming little gem. We will definitely be 'popping in' again.

We received a hamper for Christmas from our friend Trevor & Sonja with cheese straws, scones and sausage rolls from Pippas pantry. They were all absolutely delicious and were enjoyed by all our family....thank you!

My husband & I visited for the first time on Friday (5/9) after some strong recommendations! I can absolutely see why Pippa’s Pantry is so popular. We were warmly welcomed by Pippa’s daughter Molly (hope I’ve got that right?!!) and sat down in the most comfortable armchairs with nice high backs! My husband’s sausage roll was delicious, he said, I had the cheese and bacon pastry, which was equally lovely. Then we finished with probably the best lemon drizzle cake (served with fresh cream ) that I’ve ever tasted! Such great value too! Thank you & look forward to seeing you again very soon! X

What a find. We stopped on the way back from Lincolnshire. A lovely little cafe wonderfully decorated and really cosy. The cake was amazing and some of the group had sausage rolls that were delicious. It was really busy with lots of booking which shows how good it is. It was really nice to have a good cup of tea in a teapot with a pretty china cup and saucer . Highly recommended.

Pippa and her team are amazing, welcoming, friendly and the food is delicious We visit regularly and recommend to all our friends and family. It is always difficult to decide what to choose as there is always a great choice Personally I have to say this is the best little hidden gem in a world of ordinary coffee shops, and the mokka that I always have is the best I have had anywhere, and I have drunk a lot of coffees around the world. I can recommend the lemon drizzle, black forest gateau, scones, sausage rolls and anything with chocolate on

I want to thank Pippa and her team for an amazing afternoon tea. I was let down by a different caterer at the very last minute for a baby shower and Pippa's pantry came to my rescue pulling out all the stops including crockery and even delivery. I have no hesitation in recommending Pippa's Pantry. The food was delicious. Thank you Pippa .
